What happens when four civilized adults meet together to discuss a physical altercation that took place between their children. Can they remain even-tempered, or will they devolve into misbehaving toddlers themselves? In God of Carnage, playwright Yasmina Reza offers a complicated answer to this simple question. In this production, an upscale living room in a Brooklyn apartment transforms into a no-holds-barred fighting arena.  Alliances dissolve almost as quickly as they are formed, while each parent, each husband, each wife tries to defend their view of the world and of themselves.  Their intentions may have been noble, but when they are forced to confront some uncomfortable truths, these loving parents decide to embrace that childish tendency to simply “tell it like it is.”
